June 21 - June 24
“Photostock” began in the summer of 2006 as a gathering of photographers who, for the most part, had never met before. It grew out of a post made by artist Bill Schwab on a popular photography forum called A.P.U.G., an invitation to photographers in the Great Lakes area looking to meet like minded people.
Photostock celebrates its 12th anniversary this year, and I am pleased to share that I will be on hand providing starry inspiration with the many stories of what’s happening this season, and throughout the year, overhead in the night sky.
The base of the event will be held on the grounds of The Birchwood Inn, just north of Harbor Springs, Michigan on M-119, the famous “Tunnel of Trees”. Workshops and some demonstrations will be held at the Photostock Workshop Facility, north of the Birchwood near Cross Village. All are located a short distance from the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan.
