Cruise the Straits of Mackinac by the Light of the Sturgeon Moon with Star Lore Historian Mary Stewart Adams

Tradition holds that Sturgeon are plentiful in the month of August, and symbolically, they’re all about self-care, which is the perfect set up for the relaxing and inspiring experience of the evening sky over the Straits of Mackinac from atop a Shepler’s Ferry.

We’ll cruise out in the moonlight just past the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower, to catch a stray falling star or two, to enjoy moonlight reflected on a great body of water, and enjoy the evening with story and song.
