The Presence of the Feminine in the Mystery of Golgotha
In 1913, Rudolf Steiner described the being of Anthroposophia as a celestial goddess
that descends from the spiritual world to the human being. We find this being
described as well in the narrative of “The Chymical Wedding of Christian
Rosenkreutz” and in Dante’s “Divine Comedy.” Using each of these narratives as our guide, and Rudolf Steiner’s further description of the nature of such experience, we
will enter artistically into an exploration of this being’s role in the sacred Mystery of
Golgotha.
