Introduction to a Study of the Stars as a Cultural Art

In this evening lecture (May 5) and weekend workshop (May 6), Star Lore Historian Mary Stewart Adams will lead us through the practical and often magical aspects of star knowledge through the various disciplines of astronomy, astrology, and astrosophy. Friday night lecture will include the year’s celestial highlights and their meaning; workshop will include how to understand these phenomena in the rhythm of the human biography.

We’ll read star maps, create birth charts, share tales, and build our way back to the stars.
