Jupiter and the Moon cruise, where the Great Lakes Meet

Our largest planet, Jupiter, will be brilliant in the evening sky near the bright (and passionate) star Antares throughout July, and tonight the two play host to the waxing gibbous Moon.

This is the season of brilliant sky shows and rich stories, which are best experienced as they unfold over the beautiful waters of the great lakes.

We depart Shepler’s Ferry Dock in Mackinaw City and head west into the sunset, changing Lake Huron for Lake Michigan as we cross under the elegant Mackinac Bridge a, all the while hearing the tales of the night and the tunes to go with it!
