Narrative of the Night Sky at Offield Family Viewlands

November 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

For ancient cultures the night sky was a mighty script that could be read and interpreted by those that had been initiated into the highest mysteries, and it was through the guidance of these initiates, especially in troubled times, that ancient cultures found the restorative and peace-inducing effect of macrocosmic rhythms, by allowing the harmony of the cosmos to fill the soul.

For this evening’s program, which is timed to coincide with the peak of the Taurid Meteor Shower, Mary Stewart Adams will share information about the significance for 2020 of the following phenomena: the third and final conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Pluto, which will occur this night; the completion of Mars’ once-every-two-years retrograde, which is also happening now; and other notable celestial phenomena that lend themselves to finding our way through this time.

Program available for live participation and via Zoom. Go to landtrust.org to register.
