The Star Picture at Michaelmas 2021

At the opening of the series of five lectures he gave in 1923 on The Four Seasons and the Archangels, Rudolf Steiner proceeded by reminding his audience that “…events that take place behind the veil of appearance, outside the physical, sense-perceptible world can be described in pictorial terms,” and that “the pictures correspond throughout with reality.”

Taking this as our cue, Mary Stewart Adams will lead participants in the September 3, 2021 evening with the Front Range Anthroposophical Café through consideration of the star picture that stands over the time of Michaelmas each year, and the unique configuration that presents itself this year, in September/October, 2021 (event is free by registration; donations gratefully accepted).

The question for each of us to carry into discussion after this presentation is: How will you celebrate Michaelmas this year, and, is the celebration or observance of this festival informed by events/experiences coming out of the last nine months, or is it informed by something other?
