Weekly Radio

Every Monday morning at 6:45 and 8:45 am, Interlochen Public Radio looks into the night sky with Star Lore Historian Mary Stewart Adams, former Program Director and founder of Michigan’s only International Dark Sky Park, who has been telling stories of the night sky on IPR since 2013. Each segment is filled with Mary’s unique and humanities-rich rendering of the stories in the night sky, including poetry, art, literature, the sciences, and all the ways they reveal human nature, as viewed through the lens of astronomy.
