The unprecedented nature of the times in which we find ourselves have led to an endless number of online lectures, presentations, and video conferences aimed at helping us sort through our thoughts, attain steadiness in our feelings, and figure out what best to do as we wend our way through this new world. It has been my experience that a contemplation of the mysteries that inspire master works of art can be as a healing balm, to augment whatever else we undertake in this season, and it is with my deepest gratitude that I share this recording of my presentation on “The Healing Impulse of Raphael’s Transfiguration at Easter 2020.”
Just a few words before you dive in: I want to acknowledge the Great Lakes Branch of the Anthroposphical Society, for their generous support of my work and research, Michael Alberts for his post-production work on this recording, and all those who have made donations to this effort. If you are inclined to share this presentation, please consider making a donation here (donate button is on the bottom right of the home page), or to the Great Lakes Branch of the Anthroposophical Society.
And please know that your response to this work is important to me as I continue on in my research!~Mary Stewart Adams
